The "yoyo" is a tunisian pastry in form of donut.
The yoyo is maybe an adaptation of the western donut but the tunisians enjoy added a touch of their own to give it a North African behaviour.
The yoyo will be excellent for your dessert for Rosh Ashana as it is also dipped in honey.
Is this linked to the "Yoyoyoyyo" that North African women are saying when there is a marriage or a bar/bat mitsva at the synagogue ?
